I’m celiac, are all of your products gluten free?
Yes, all Forage & Graze products are free from grains and gluten, however they are not made in an independently certified gluten-free kitchen. We do however have strict processes in place to ensure cross-contamination is highly unlikely.
My child is allergic to peanuts; do any of your products include peanuts?
No we do not have peanuts in our products, we do however include a range of tree nuts and seeds in most of our products. These are clearly labelled on the back of each pack.
My granola has a different texture to the last batch I had, why is that?

We make our granola in small batches so we can deliver the freshest products to our consumers, this can sometimes mean our granola may vary slightly in consistency. The weather can also have an impact on the granola consistency due to some of our ingredients that can be affected by temperature, like coconut oil. We recommend storing your granola in a cool, dark and dry cupboard for optimum freshness.

Are there any artificial colourings, flavours or preservatives in Forage & Graze Products?
Rest assured you’ll only find genuine whole foods in all of our products. We’re not interested in anything processed, cheap alternatives or fillers, additives, preservatives, colours, or artificial flavours, so you won’t find any of these in Forage & Graze products.
What is the shelf life of Forage & Graze products?

Forage & Graze Biltong is vacuum sealed for optimum freshness and should last for at least 6 months. Keep out of direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry, dark place to keep fresh.

Once opened, our biltong is best consumed right away (as there’s no artificial preservatives). Keep out of direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry, dark place for optimum freshness.

Forage & Graze granola will last for at least 6 months. Check the best before date on the back of the pack. Keep in a cool, dry and dark cupboard for optimum freshness. Once opened, ensure you re-seal the pouch or transfer to your own airtight container, to ensure the longevity of the granola.

We also hold minimal stock levels so that when you receive your products, you know that it’s the freshest batch possible. In all instances, please refer to the best before date on the back of all Forage & Graze packs.

I normally consume protein bars and shakes, is the Forage & Graze Biltong a good alternative for me?

Yes, unlike most commercially produced protein bars and shakes, our Nothing But Biltong packs are completely natural, free from any artificial additives or fillers, and are a great source of animal protein, as opposed to processed protein sources from dairy (ie Whey).

Liquid protein shakes also create an insulin response as they require less processing and digestion as well. It’s always better to source protein from REAL food, and that’s exactly what our biltong offers. 

When you say there are no processed ingredients in your products, what does that mean?

When we say processed foods, we mean fast food, anything stored in colourful cardboard or plastic boxes, anything with a long list of ingredients that you don’t recognise or can’t pronounce and almost anything you find in the middle aisles of your grocery store.

Basically, processed food is anything that is not REAL food.
